Greetings
The house is in turmoil.
We've got to fit in two large bits of furniture from my parent's house which is now being prepared for sale.
Before we could take them, we had to get new flooring down, because when they are in they are never moving again and the carpet in the living room was in the house when I bought it in 1990.
We've now got most of the new laminate flooring in, but, as we had to move all the other furniture out ( into the sewing room which is now crammed with stuff) we decided we should really complete the decoration in the living room( previously started and then stalled at a third done)
We ( well mostly me) have now got that to half done- enough to get the big bit of furniture into the done half.
Then we finish the room and only then do we start getting the living room back to normal.
On top of that, we are giving up on the old compactum wardrobe in the bedroom and replacing it with one from my parent's house, which means we have to empty the old one and dismantle it for disposal and then shift enough furniture about in the bedroom for the new one to go in.
I'm a bit sad to have to get rid of the compactum. I've been using it since I was about eight. However, its drawer to hanging ratio is not helpful and the veneer is cracked and flaking off. It was an interesting piece of furniture with some nice features and I will miss it
I've taken some photos, which I may post later
As a Consequence of all this- and due to the studio also having extra stuff in it-, I'm not getting a lot of artwork done at the moment.
And the cats have made it very clear they DO NOT APPROVE of all the disruption
Anyway.. Here is the next version of the computer art I had finished before this all started...
Until next time
Adieu
