Steampunk Medals 6

Greetings

I bought an old broach at an antiques fair which looked rather like the Small George pendant for the Order of the Garter. The Small George is worn on the junction point of the sash of the order, but, in Tudor times it was sometimes worn on a neck ribbon.

I carefully clipped off the broach mount and filed the stumps off.

I have mounted it on a dark blue neck ribbon and have found a jewellery box to keep it in.

Blue Boy again

Greetings

I have been trying out working in coloured pencils on coloured paper.

I found this slightly saucy picture of my superhero character Blue Boy in one of my portfolios and reworked it a bit.

Steampunk medals 5

Greetings

After a further call to my provider, my new router has now been received and set up.

So, we can get back to the regular blog schedule...

I have made up an order star on a neck ribbon. I think it has come out rather well.

I found a nice jewellery box to keep it in:

Bright Judges 4

Greetings

Apologies for this late posting.

I am having a spot of bother with my wi-fi and am currently waiting for a new router to be sent to me.

I am only able to post this on a friend's signal...

Anyway...

Here is a  figure of Judge Lust from my Bright Judges

I thin k this figure came out particularly well.

steampunk medals 4

Greetings

Happy New Year.

Let us all hope that 2020 is auspicious and gives our political leaders actual clarity of vision.

In the meantime, back to steampunk medals...

So far, I have made groups of full sized swing and court mounted medals and a set of miniatures.

I have now made up medals to be worn on a neck ribbon.

First I made this one, which is designed to look more Napoleonic:

Then I made this one, which has a more Victorian look:
